Hey Design Champions - this year's five-day festival, one of the largest in the country, unites the Philadelphia region's dynamic creative community, bringing together individuals and organizations from every design discipline. In the weeks to come we will be launching a new website featuring up-to-date festival information and other DesignPhiladelphia happenings. As part of this year's festival, we are introducing Design Districts, modeled after last year's opening night festivities that kicked off with parties, exhibitions, outdoor happenings and late-night performances in the Callowhill district. Create a hands-on workshop, an extraordinary exhibition, stimulating lecture or panel discussion, fashion show, design tour, or a street happening.Design is everywhere and the DesignPhiladelphia festival is a city-wide event. Programs take place across the city and in addition, Design Districts will serve as hot spots on specific festival days. Think big. Think bold. Think DESIGN! It's time to make your project a reality.
