On Feb. 19, the Corzo Center for the Creative Economy at the University of the Arts and DesignPhiladelphia will kick off their 2013 spring lecture series “Creating with Constraints” with speaker Diana Lind, executive director and editor-in-chief of Next City. The series will also include presentations by noted author and consultant Medard Gabel (March 5), and designer Aaron Goldblatt with urban designer and planner Leah Murphy (April 16).

From Thursday, November 8 through Sunday, November 11, 2012, The Craft Show Committee and The Women’s Committee of the Philadelphia Museum of Art will present the 36th annual Craft Show. This premier exhibition and sale of contemporary American craft, held at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia, includes 195 of the bestcraft artists in the United States. A select group of artists from Great Britain will also be exhibiting and selling their work.
