CityLove, a project of the National Trust for Historic Preservation, is coming to Philadelphia for a week of free tours, meet-ups, parties, and behind-the-scenes photo tours, all taking place inside some of the city's most iconic - and of course, historic - places. Spots are limited, but there is still time to register.

InLiquid’s Art for the Cash Poor is an annual summer sale that operates under the premise that everyone can be an art collector. In 1999, the event began as an exposition of quality work at affordable prices, with everything from jewelry, paintings, photography, fashion, and ceramic ware priced at $199 and under.

The Philadelphia Maker Entreprenuers - the "latest greatest maker-est meetup group for new entrepreneurs" - will be holding their second meetup on the evening of Wednesday, June 11 at Perch Pub (1345 Locust Street). The group aims to connect entrepreneurs who make and sell physical goods to the resources they need to grow their business. This second meeting and happy hour at Perch Pub will serve to help foster new connections, provide you with an opportunity to show of your wares informally, and give a space to talk about the challenges facing the Philadelphia Maker community.

Join AIGA Philadelphia at MASQUERADE: Annual Gala and Silent Auction for a festive evening of mystery and intrigue including a silent auction, music, prizes, food and drinks. Guests are encouraged to come wearing a mask and dressed in semi-formal attire. Prizes will be awarded for the most creative masks! Proceeds support AIGA Philadelphia SPACE and continued programming including lectures, exhibits and workshops that enrich the community and AIGA membership of over 600 local design professionals, educators and students.

The Art Market at Tyler is coming back for its third year with DesignPhiladelphia and is looking for artists to participate! Tyler's Art Market is a weekend-long fine arts sale, taking place Friday and Saturday, October 10-11. The Art Market aims to educate and promote the work of emerging local artists and local art students from around the city. The Art Market will be welcoming back old favorites (Art Star and the Tyler Glass Guild), while bringing in new partnerships with local businesses and co-ops like NextFab Studios and the Philadelphia Sculpture Gym.

The Kensington Kinetic Sculpture Derby is this Saturday! If you don't know by now, The Kensington Kinetic Sculpture Derby is a local design competition and parade of human powered vehicle floats. The KKSD was started in 2007 as an Economic Development Initiative of the New Kensington Community Development Corporation (NKCDC) to compliment the East Kensington Neighbors Association's Trenton Avenue Arts Festival.
