Philadelphia, PA (September 2014) -- The Pennsylvania / New Jersey / Delaware Chapterof the International Interior Design Association announces its 13th AnnualProduct Parade, a highly anticipated annual event showcasing interior design products. Slated for 5:30 - 8:30 p.m. on October 15th, this ticketed event willfeature 100 vendors in the 15,000 sq. ft. 23rd Street Armory (22 S. 23rd St., Philadelphia, PA 19103).
When: Both exhibitions open on First Friday, October 3rd and will continue through November 30th. A DesignPhiladelphia reception will be held on Friday, October 10th from 5:30-8pm. At 7pm, The Clay Studio will be hosting a live taping of ceramic artist Ben Carter’s Tales of a Red Dirt Rambler podcast featuring Bobby Silverman, Gettysburg, PA-based potter Tina Gebhart and Michael Strand, who is known for his social projects involving ceramics.

Over the last decade, DesignPhiladelphia has grown into America’s preeminent showcase for educating the public about the role design plays in our everyday lives through a wide breadth of innovative and experiential programming.
Gravy Studio has curated a show for DesignPhiladelphia titled Residuum, featuring work by Kelton Bumgarner and a collaborative project between Pam Farrell and Krista Svalbonas. Brought together by similar themes of destruction and residue, they have all taken a wide range of techniques to envision their final landscapes.

This Design Forum event presented by Graduate Studies at Moore's MFA in Interior Design will be moderated by faculty member James Miller and feature Moore alumnae Karen Daroff and Marguerite Rodgers, Floss Barber, Barbara Eberlein and Kimberly Williams. Following a question and answer session, the audience is invited to a reception with the panelists.
