Interested in participating in DesignPhiladelphia 2015?
Join the DesignPhiladelphia team at the 2015 Festival Information Session next week to learn all of the ways in which you can participate in this annual citywide endeavor. Topics will include what's new for event partners, ways to collaborate with like-minded and/or conveniently located partners, and a demo of our event listing and management features of our website. We'll also update you on the Pearl Street Passage project, as well as introduce some of this year's major production partners.
This year's theme is SHIFT. We are inspired by the rapid changes in Philadelphia’s skyline and urban landscape; and how these changes have the power to SHIFT perceptions about our great city. We challenge event partners to produce experiences that explore the SHIFT in design process, education, and practice towards a multi-disciplinary, collaborative approach. We're also debuting six program tracks, developed with the help of our esteemed steering committee, which will connect event partners to their target audiences more effectively.
We've got two neighborhood-scale events in the works - one in Chinatown North/Callowhill and the other in Old City. If you're located in these neighborhoods, come and hear what's planned and how you can add value to your event through partnering with your neighbors. We'll also review several collaborations from last year and discuss the contributing factors to their success.
A chance to mix and mingle, as well as questions and answers will follow. Light refreshments will be served.
This event is FREE, but register here.
