Metropolis Magazine's SHAPE THE FUTURE Competition

Unleash Your Creative Ideas

You push boundaries to make the impossible practical. Now Metropolis Magazine is asking you to focus your visionary thinking on a familiar and time-tested material: CORIAN solid surface.

The Shape the Future Design Competition, co-presented by Metropolis and DuPont™ Corian®, seeks proposals that show how design students and professionals would transform the familiar 20th century material into 21st century, tech-age environments, surfaces, spaces, structures, art, furniture, and objects.

They are offering a $10,000 prize purse—$7,000 for the winner and $1,500 each for two runners-up—plus international publicity via Metropolis, metropolismag.com, corian.com, our respective social media channels and possible exhibitions at one or more of the DuPont Corian Design Studios.

Submission Deadline is August 1, 2014 at 11:59PM EDT.
