DesignPhiladelphia proudly presents the Official Closing Ceremony for the 2014 festival, Lairs of Self in Everyday Life. In their premier personal collaboration, Sean Martorana and Dejha Ti invite you to play with their combined psyche, revealing their designs and adding your own. Lairs of Self explores how identity changes shape, moment to moment, day by day. Commandeer this kaleidoscope made from the very stuff that makes each of us. Discover the layers that shroud two designers. Perhaps you’ll discover your own.

Lairs of Self is an immersive and interactive 10 projector installation; projections map to the colossal walls of the Crane Arts Icebox and wash against custom fabricated Corian® sculptures. Attendees are encouraged to interact amidst a series of filmed experiments to create live permutations of the design. Lairs of Self is an impressive end to DesignPhiladelphia’s 10th annual celebration of art, design, and technology.
