Let’s Make Something Big Together: Join a Coloring Party for Grownups Hosted by Hooley During DesignPhiladelphia
Color a Giant Pattern Hand-Drawn by Philly Artists while enjoying drinks and nibbles
When: Wednesday, 10/15 6-8 PM
Where: Indy Hall, 22 N 3rd Street
What: Hooley, a coloring company for grownups, invites you to “be the artist” at a special DesignPhiladelphia #communitycoloring party. Join other guests to color a giant hand-drawn abstract pattern created by 8 Philadelphia artists on a 20’ by 3’ piece of paper while enjoying drinks and nibbles provided by local Philly food companies. After the event, Hooley will present the completed work to hosting venue Indy Hall as a piece of community-made art.
“Coloring is one of those activities that we stop doing as we grow older, but it can be especially therapeutic for busy adults. Coloring forces us to stop, sit, and focus on what’s right in front of us,” says Alli Blum, founder, Hooley.
How: RSVP at http://hooley.ticketleap.com/design-philly
Tickets: $15 in advance, $20 at the door
Hooley will provide everything you need to color—just bring your best friends and your inner child!
