Upload your photo for a chance to be featured on a Visit Philly Billboard
Visit Philly, as part of the With Love, Philadelphia XOXO campaign, is running a photo contest now through August 3rd. The contest is open to regional residents, visitors, and fans for the chance to engage with Philadelphia and show off their best Philly image on a Phillyosophy billboard. The winning photo will appear on an I-95 billboard this fall as part of With Love, Philadelphia.
Through August 3, Visit Philly is encouraging Philadelphians to go to facebook.com/visitphilly or visitphilly.com/contest, choose one of six Phillyosophy lines and then upload a photo of their own that goes well with the line of their choice. To select the finalists, they'll choose the most compelling photos that pair best with the lines and show off Philly’s new confidence. The top selections will then appear on the Visit Philly Facebook page and website, where you can view the billboards and vote for your favorite from August 11-17.
In addition to the billboard, the winner will also receive a prize package.
Here’s how you can enter:
Snap a great shot of Philadelphia this weekend – maybe at one of Philly’s pop-up beer gardens, Spruce Harbor Park, or a Center for Architecture walking tour – choose a Phillyosophy and upload it here.
After the voting period, the winning photo will be featured on a VISIT PHILADELPHIA billboard on I-95 in the fall of 2014. In addition, the winning photographer will receive the following prize package:
Two-night stay at the Loews Philadelphia Hotel
Up to $600 in travel expenses
$200 gift certificate for Starr Restaurants
$100 gift certificate for the Barnes Foundation
$50 gift certificate for Reading Terminal Market
$50 gift certificate for Open House
