This promises to be an important conversation for those concerned with Philadelphia’s urban landscape.  Four speakers will each make short presentations on signage as it relates to Center City history and development:

  • John Pringle, Senior Associate at Stantec and architect for Lit Brothers digital billboards

  • Patrick Grossi, Director of Advocacy at Preservation Alliance of Greater Philadelphia

  • Harris Steinberg, Director of Lindy Institute for Urban Innovation at Drexel

  • Len Davidson, President of Davidson Neon Design, Inc. and sign preservationist/historian

The panel will then engage in a free-ranging discussion with the audience about the impact of large-scale lighted signage on cities, neighborhoods, and their residents.
