This exhibition is presented by the Coaltition of Community College Architecture Programs (CCCAP) in partnership with the Center for Architecture and Design


The 2019 CCCAP Student Design Competition for a proposed Balandra Beach Environmental Center in Baja California, Mexico, explored the human relationship with sun, water, ecology, and the natural environment. The jury evaluated the designs for concept, formal expression, program, site, sustainability, and graphic presentation. View the winning entries at the Center for Architecture and Design through January 16th, 2020.

The Coalition of Community College Architecture Programs (CCCAP) is a national organization representing over 120 programs is an organization of educators dedicated to promoting the value of community college architecture programs and to providing an alternative pathway into the architectural profession. CCCAP looks to lead dialogue, share best practices, and collaborate as a network for community college architecture programs with other architectural academic institutions and the ACSA, AIA, NAAB and NCARB.
