Whether it's a grand vision for the whole city or specific plans for that part you know best, all are encouraged to submit to be a part of this year's Fast Forward >> Philly speakers event, part of the annual Design Philadelphia Festival.
Fast Forward >> Philly, now in its eighth year, offers a lineup of rapid-fire presentations consisting of 20 slides, 20 seconds each, delivered in front of an audience of design and Philadelphia enthusiasts. The event is organized by PEA: Philadelphia Emerging Architects, a committee of AIA Philadelphia. This year’s event will be held on the evening of Friday, October 11 at the Center for Architecture + Design. Past presentations have included a wide range of topics organized around the event theme, What's Next for Philly? - from a grand vision for how Philadelphia could host a Summer Olympics to strategies for transforming unused spaces with ready-to-install neighborhood parks.
To answer the open call for presenters, submit 5 images and your take on What’s Next for Philly? in 200 words or less to [email protected] by Friday, August 23. For more information about the event, please visit fastforwardphilly.blogspot.com !
