Showcase your architectural, engineering, and culinary skills and compete to win your share of $500 (+ bragging rights) in the Center's annual Gingerbread Architecture Challenge! The gingerbread structures are displayed at the Center for Architecture and Design in the weeks leading up to Christmas, at the same time as our family-friendly exhibition, Constructing Play: Classic + Modern Building Toys.

Even if you're not up for designing your own entry, be sure to visit the Center in December to marvel at the stunning and fantastical candy lands on display. And be sure to vote for your favorite creation in person or online - the winning entries are determined by popular vote!

This competition is open to individuals and teams of any size. Entries can come from anyone, including designers, architects, chefs, or just passionate foodies and makers! There is no age limitation, though entrants under the age of 18 must partner with at least one adult teammate. You can submit in either the "Professional" or "Amateur" category - winning entries in each category will be determined by popular vote.
