For years, seventeen to be exact as they approach their anniversary date this month, InLiquid Art + Design has worked toward creating opportunities for artists and breathing transformative life into spaces recreated as galleries. InLiquid’s ongoing partnership with Park Town Place Museum District Residences—providing the residences with art advisory and exhibition services—has been creating just that: opportunities for artists to exhibit and be part of permanent art collections while creating a more deeply integrated community between artists and other Philadelphians. The newly renovated apartment-complex located in the heart of the Museum District is not only a state-of-the-art living space but also a unique gallery space for Philadelphia’s cultural community. Running concurrently with DesignPhiladelphia is the exhibition Constructing Organics in their South Tower Gallery, as well as their DesignPhiladelphia special event Apartment Walks.

If you are a fan of organic patterns and ceramic arts, see what is on display at Park Towne Place’s  South Tower Gallery. Open to the public from now until December 30th is Constructing Organics, curated by InLiquid Art + Design, and featuring works of Nancy Agati, Emily Squires Levine and Laura Tabakman, Daine Marimow, and Michele Tremblay. This exhibition brings together five female artists (Levine and Tabakman working collaboratively) as they share with us their visions of beauty, construction, and reconstruction of nature.

For the avid art collectors and design enthusiasts, Park Towne Place invites the public to come in for Apartment Walks happening on October 6th through the 16th. This unique experience brings together the concepts of gallery, design inspiration, together with friend and family bonding at home. Working with this year’s DesignPhiladelphia theme of “Home”, InLiquid Art + Design will be featuring their artist members as well as distinguished designers, such as Henck Design,  to design several of the luxurious penthouse apartments within Park Towne Place. Some apartments will be taken over by collaborating artists to create interactive and interpretive installations, while distinguished designers will be designing other rooms demonstrating their visions of “home.”
