In the spirit of Mural Arts, the new brand invites the public to participate in its design. On Thursday, October 13 th , you can put your creative mark on Mural Arts’ new brand. Come out for an evening of discussion and hands-on art-making projects, to be featured in a month-long campaign across the city. We asked the designers of the new brand at J2 Design to give us some background on the design process behind Mural Arts’ new graphic identity. Here’s what they had to say… Branding is not just designing a logo and slapping it on a tote bag (surprise!). Strong and thoughtful branding... Defines how people feel about the organization and the services and products offered. 
 Helps people to make choices on how to spend their time in money in a crowded market place 
 Communicates the quality of the service.
